There are a lot of expense tracking apps provided for iPhone and iPod Touch, but Expenditure is certainly exceptional. For starters, this app is available for an affordable price although you can get the demo version – Expenditure Lite – for free. Second of all, this app is very easy to use even if you have no previous experience of using similar apps.

Expenditure’s user interface is very straightforward and easy to understand. You don’t have to be confused by buttons and menus, because all you will see are labeled buttons – large enough so they can be pushed with your thumb – and you can use them to start entering transactions and track your expenses right away.

Expenses can be categorized accordingly. There is a set of built-in categories already programmed to make this app usable out of the box, but you can always customize them to suit your preferences. Another interesting feature – simple yet very useful nonetheless – offered by Expenditure is the auto calculation; this app adds your income and subtracts your expenses in real-time, allowing you to know exactly how much money you have in an instant.

The only downside of this marvelous app is that the information stored using Expenditure cannot be exported to other third-party apps. This app is self-contained and it does not offer web access to the expenses and incomes you entered into the app.

All in all, Expenditure is a good app to use if you are looking for a simple way to track your expenses and manage your personal finance properly.
